all said and done

this was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. i already miss everybody from the team. day 4 was amazing. aaron played great in the germany game. i threw another hammer for a goal, however it wasnt that nice. ha. we played gb in the semis and just crushed them. im so proud of our team. the finals was amazing. scored the first two goals....bringing me to fifteen...and at 16-7, i caught the gold winning goal which was amazing and also beat kimber hahahaha, boooya. 16 and 11 was the final count if anybody cared. but if i learned anything from this tournament its that none of that really matters. i found myself annoyed everytime bateman would say "amos, thanks for throwing that, you got me on the stat sheet for a world championship" or "i wish i coulda caught that winning goal." still, what up kimber. we had a team love circle before the germany game. plenty of tears. man i miss everybody so much. time for travel time with some kids. got to hoist the trophy in the air. one last team shower (not a fan, but had to participate). ill treasure this experience forever...also rather upset the girls lost. but whatever. one family. also scored some red japanese shorts, number 10, wasssssup.

day 3, tourny half over :(

so our schedule is lame. we are like the only team that has an 830 game every day. anyways we played finland who lost to germany by like 4 but won the euro championship. umm they were pretty good. good huckers. we keep getting beat deep, its annoying. anyways the final score was 17-9. grrrrr. scored 4 goals and assisted 1.

next game was against israel. they are probably the younges,t smallest, least experienced team here (aka one of the worst). scored one goal. didnt play much we won 17-4...playing pretty poorly. i didnt play all that much due to injury and the fact that we have hella guys and israel wasnt all that good (i seem to be playing more in the good game).

anywho, oh my one assist was a hammer! hehehe. umm but i hurt my rotator culf and my lacerated my bicep or something. idk if you can actually do that. haha but two real injuries but in minor form. i cant really bring my left arm above my shoulder without pain and i cant reach backwards at all. so my left arm had a wrist taped (filoid fracture), elbow wrapped with gauze (a huge bloody mess due to, turf layouts that never heal cause i havent stopped playing frisbee for 2 weeks) and then my shoulder taped for my new injury. its crazy ive never been injured before, but oh well.

anyways, i was told i had a good mark, but then pauline (our defensive coach got all mad at me for getting broken, sooo idk). umm anyways, so trevor that puts me at 9 goals and 7 assists. maybe if i played more in the poopy games id pad those stats haha. but im ok with whatever.

also note to kathy, we went to a carnival when we first got here and i went on a ride that goes 55 meters in the air (like 180 feet) and it is like one of those hammer ones that go in a circle and you go upside down and flip and go fast and i almost cried, but it was mandatory team bonding. ha.

i had to wrap my left wrist today cause it still hurts!!!!!! some of you might not understand what i mean. but kathy and trevor do. our trainer said its either ligament damage that i should have taken better care of hahaha. or a fractured filoid (fee-loid). some small bone connected to your thumb. i dont really know. hahaha. it hurts though.

also to those it may concern. remember the boy i kissed on the neck at ycc. well thats chris kocher!!! haha and he asked me if i had ever played ycc and i was like yeah have you? and he was like yeah i played mixed, and right then i was like HOLY CRAP I KISSED YYOU. now we are best freidns are reminisce all the time about it. haha it was amazing.

worlds!

finally got to a computer!

so first of all we are staing at a school with like no showers. lame. however, there is a reall good ice cream shop that gives you dank ice cream and a lot of it for very little euro hehehe. anyways.

day 1 - first game was against belgium. the had like 23456 laout ds on us until we decided to finallyy start playing. not a lot happened. i had a score and an assist! yay. almost a lay out d, buuut no (this trend continues). 17-4. elliott had a layout callahan. money.

second game against aussies - pauline gave me and chris kocher a defensive assignment to guard their main handler....cuase we rock at marking. anyway, shut the fool down. almost had a big sky, but got scored on. ummm had two prett big layouts and just tackled two different kids. neither got a d....lame. scored twice of deep looks and an assist! yay. 17-4

day 2 - game 3 against ireland....hahah this guys were pretty bad but really fun and nice. we won 17-2 didnt have to do much. scored once. also had like a 65 yard bomb to julian. big backhand. yaay! iev been wanting to huck it. also a missed layout callahan (and it continues).

game 4 - austria. man these guys were way better than everybody else so far. ummm yeah they had two huge skies. umm we didnt play out best, kind of lame. got a d in our zone defense. we run two different zones. 1-3-3 and a cup zone. rehder and i play offside wing and eat up all the floating poop throws over the top. anywayys. the game continued. no goals, but three assists, including another backhand huck to julian! booya. then the fun began! well just one point. third to last point. i came across the middle and layed out for a disc, caught it got up gave it to jonha who gave it to julian then i came under after busting deep off excitement, had to layout for jules' throw. idk it was sweet. first two layouts. anyway we won 17-8.

everything has been super fun. lots of team bonding (all sleeping in the same room, seen too manyy...things) made some usa anklets, lots of ice cream. girls have a showcase game tonight. should be sweet. lots of huge ds. these kids are amazing. like simon as three, elliott has 2, spencer has 1, jericho has 2 the list goes on. (layouts these are). lots of hucks. we still have yet to just dominate fools with out game plans. some kids still wanna be the man, its hard not to because everybody is used to that, but everybody is sooo GOOD.but itll get better. it already has. anyways thats it for now. love you guys and yeah, peace!!!!

airport

yo yo yo, so ive been at the boston airport for about two hours, and ill be here for another three. then a 7 hour flight to germany! yay. and then one night until opening ceremonies. pretty exciting. mommy is here now! yayayayayay.

just ate lunch. finished out last practice. we fly out at 10 pm grrr... so late. anyway, we lost our showcase game by 4. but i played well. plays 3 o lines and 4 d lines and scored all three of the o points i played. gimme some! ummm yeah.

with elliott and joshie and eli and casey (the lame one) and jordan and matt (who knows megan mcgowan). end of story.

really tired. holy moly. camp was super fun yesterday. lots of scrimmaging. spencer from amherst is fast as a mother fudger. but im keepin up. today should be fun. sept like crap last night. beat everybody at disc golf last night. aaron and i connected for two goals hahaha. yay! nice to see luke, however hes not coming to germany. got our jerseys!!! more later. time for breakfast. if effing 4 am in my mind. peace!
